Doing the right thing is tough and especially these days. I had an Employer that bought the Company I worked for. They kept me on but it was obvious that they would essentially play those ethics games with business dealings. They cheated customers and they cheated their own Employees families. I was a top performer and when I was deemed to “not fit in” because I couldn’t do that? they let me go out of nowhere. What’s ironic is no warning. No verbal, no written, no reasoning other than they were “going another direction”. It’s the only time I can remember they told the truth, we were exact opposites. They were run by a multi millionaire (I’m talking 100’s of millions) and I know for fact they bought their way out past troubles They acted like the Mafia wannabe and were breaking Laws left n right. I was soooo glad they let me go after 6 months even though I made more $$ in that time than I have ever made in a calendar year. It’s strange but I was so relieved when they fired me? I think it took them off guard I was thanking everyone and blessing everyone. They acted all tough guy letting me go.. Like they expected I’d cry or fight them?? I had asked God for more financial provision less than a year earlier. He brought it on alright. This Employer out of nowhere purchased the Co I worked for that had been in business since 1915. Do the math it was purchased 6 months after that prayer and my $$ tripled. So I can relate. But God tests us. I’m 100% sure he was testing me. I felt him speak to me that this wasn’t who I was as their mouths moved in slow motion. Evil begets Evil and I’m just not cut from that mold, nor are you. We all make mistakes but it’s not how we start, it’s how we finish that matters. Be strong. Finish Strong
