Message: <blockquote data-quote="tcbintexas" data-source="post: 415726" data-attributes="member: 5951">From 7-11 years old, I lived near a small town about an hour north of Madison.  The town, Westfield, at the time had a population of under a 1000 people.  We lived in a log cabin out in the middle of nowhere without running water. One Friday night in the Spring of 1981 (+ or - 1 year), several of the Packers came to our small town to play the high school boys in a basketball game (fundraiser).  The gym was absolutely packed and frankly, it felt like the biggest thing that town had ever experienced.  During half-time of the game, those five Packers signed autographs for EVERY SINGLE child in attendance.  I was so blown away that these guys would have the patience to sign autographs for everyone.  I even remember one of the coaches getting on the mic to tell people half-time was over and for everyone to return to their seats.  The players said, no, that's not happening until ever kid gets their autograph.  And from that moment, I've been a diehard Packers fan.  I so wish one day I'll come across those autographs in some scrapbook.</blockquote>
