One interesting thing is that each team is limited to 60 interviews. There are over 330 players at the combine. You know the list of interviewees gets leaked so teams know who is interviewing who.
Some are potential undrafted free agents a team wants to persuade to sign after the draft. Some are 1st round picks expected to be drafted near where a team is drafting. The rest are interesting decisions.

Players are divided into groups and each group is there for 4 days.
Day1- arrive and have orientation and medical testing and interviews.
Day2-Height, Weight and other measurements, Wonderlic, Weight reps. evening interviews
Day3-Union meeting, Psycho testing, position tests, evening interviews
Day4-40, shuttle runs, vertical jump broad jump etc. evening interviews.
Some groups overlap.
