Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mondio" data-source="post: 842794" data-attributes="member: 10441"><p>Defenders are absolutely able to react differently on every different play especially when the entire philosophy around a defensive play call is different.  The Bears were killing us up front and you can bet they were calling their defense accordingly.  Besides that, a 2nd and 2 probably is a much better play for play action than 3rd and 15.  1st and 10 play actions will work if you're able to run the ball successfully on 1st down.  They tend not to work so well when you gain zero yards every time.  Sure you can get one to work once and while.  People convert 4th and 26's too, but that's not the league norm.</p></blockquote><p></p>
