Would he have taken some flack for either telling the media that he didn't get vaccinated and the reasons why or simply saying he prefers not to publicly discuss his vax status?  Probably, but less than what he is taking now.  Further, the brunt of the flack would have taken place in August and diminished quite a bit by the time he was diagnosed with Covid midway through a successful season.  That diagnosis would have no doubt stirred up a lot of "I told you so'ers", but not at the level of what he has created now, by initially lying to/deceiving the media and general public.[MEDIA=twitter]1455916426989035532[/MEDIA]</blockquote>
