Thompson's boldest move in the draft was to trade up for Matthews and he was able to do that in part because of the 3rd rounder the Packers received for you-know-who going to the Jets. Thompson has said he will not mortgage a future draft for a current one so unless Clowney has a Rodgers-like slide that suggestion is moot.</blockquote>
