Message: <blockquote data-quote="adambr2" data-source="post: 656405" data-attributes="member: 7277">Why?  Trevathan has never been in any kind of off the field trouble,  and his coaches in Denver have raved about his work ethic.  What in the world can we possibly invent as a reason why a position coach would have the gall to say 'no way' to his GM to someone like that with no known issues who fills an enormous roster weakness?I think we try too hard at times grasping at straws finding excuses for Ted's ways.  It's possible that one of our position coaches has a nephew that grew up with Trevathan who saw him beat up a kitten once and told Ted to stay away.  It's possible that Ted DID call Danny's agent and his agent couldn't find a pen, got another call right away, and forgot what Ted said.It's way, way more likely than either of these that Ted just didn't do his due diligence.</blockquote>
