Message: <blockquote data-quote="hallzi43" data-source="post: 769324" data-attributes="member: 12943">Ya he probably does resign in New York.  However this offseason has been a bit unpredictable.  I don't think it is a for sure thought that we would drop Cobb in order to pay for Beckham.  They could restructure or extend Cobb to create more space.  To us that seems like the logical choice but the Packers do seem to really like Cobb.  So if they didn't use him in that hypothetical trade, that would seem like a pretty steep cost for Beckham in draft picks.  I don't think it will ever come down to 2 firsts.  But without a player there will probably be plenty of picks being used in that acquisition.  Would seem like a long shot anyways even if the Packers were pretty interested.  Seems like a number of teams have quite a bit more to offer than us while also being in huge need for a WR of his caliber to start for them.  But it is still fun to think about.</blockquote>
