The hard truth is that Russ Ball will have a hard time keeping three of the top FAs - Bakh, Jones, and King.  I think Linsley is gone, and King may have to walk as well.  The way forward now for Gluten is the draft, which makes the last draft even more irritating.  Entertaining trades for expensive impact players just doesn't fly.  As it is, it will be hard to keep the key players from this team on the roster next year, and hence the urgency to make a deep playoff run this year.</blockquote>
