You totally freaked me out when you said waiting on kickoff, i was like what?!?!? Is there some sort of freak Saturday game I was unaware of... Now with that out of the way... Injuries - It seems like a lot of injuries all across the league so far this year, i wouldn't say we have been blessed on the injury front so far but it could have been worse. Rodgers - Rodgers is awesome so take what i have to say with a grain of salt but this guy could be even better if he learned to take what the defense gives him instead of holding the ball so long looking for a 20+ yard pass play. Favre threw interceptions, Rodgers takes sacks, granted the sacks don't hurt as much as the stupid interceptions but I think Rodgers unwillingness to take what he defense gives him more often holds him back from the potential of being considered the GOAT. Receivers: Cobb - What?!?!?!? the guy has 3 touchdowns in two games. All 5'10 190lbs. of him found separation in the end zone twice last week. Most 5' 10" receivers do not make a living in the red zone. Cobb is just fine, saying anything otherwise is just silly. Right now his averages = 88 catches 800 yards and 24 touchdowns. I don't know about you but I would take that every single year and could care less about the low yardage. Jordy: I think it is time for people to realize that Jordy is an elite receiver, saying anything contrary to the fact is just idiotic. As far as NFL receivers goes the pecking order is: Megatron - freak of nature in class all be himself. The Elite - this is a group of about 10 receivers that any team in the league would be thrilled to have on their team and that includes Jordy, Marshall, Dez, AJ Green, Thomas, Andre Johnson, and a few more that would be debatable. Jordy has been lighting it up for 3 years now, people need to start realizing how freaking good this man has been at catching the ball. If there is one player in all of the Packers organization that has had a hand in making Rodgers "look good" it is Jordy. Just think about that for a second. Adams - I think this kid showed quite a bit last week. He seized an opportunity give to him after Boykin's failures and never let go, and while it is to early to tell for sure, the things he showed last week all point to a very good looking receiver. Defense - it sucks, period. It is soft and weak, there is no fire or passion on that defense at all. They get pushed around way to much without pushing back, it is honestly getting sickening to watch. I think the defense can be turned around but I do not see it happening until Hawk, Jones and Dom are gone. I hope I am wrong.
