I'm not going to say it will never happen but odds are a team is going to go after someone more proven if they have a need for a #3 QB. If a team is hurting for depth he is not the answer and there are plenty of QB's with potential if that's what somebody is looking for.I think a 3rd QB on the roster right now is a waste. Especially Thompson. He has upside but he is not going to start a game for the Packers at this point. All stops would be pulled to grab a known guy if it came down to this.If that's the case then why hold out a spot for him?</blockquote>
