1. Packers defense wont be #6 when they have an inconsistent offense that keeps putting them back on the field. 3 & outs are gonna give you guys a reality check about our defense. 2. Ryan Grant's job will be much tougher this year. Will he suck? No. But he will not be a guy who gets 5 yards per carry and keep up his pace of around 1800 yards and 18 touchdowns like he was on pace for last year. His yardage is going to be hard to come by. 3. 2nd best wr core? Hey, they're not bad but please. Lets see how great they are when Rodgers is throwing to them. You see, Favre's ability to make down field decisions opened things up for those slants which we were so effective at. Throwing down field(i am not talking about hail maries-just talking about 20 yard down field throws) takes an experienced qb or an accurate guy with a cannon. 4. Top 5 coach? Didnt Ray Rhodes win the coach of the year one year and the next year he was fired? Coaches ride the coat tails of their players for the most part. Parcells, Bellicheck are exceptions along with a few others. Phil Jackson stopped being so great after Jordan retired. He stopped being so great once Shaq left as well. 5. Your confidence in Rodgers. "He will be fine" "He stays cool under pressure" "As long as he stays healthy" These are 3 very big question marks. We dont know enough about him to say this. Practice, OtA's really dont mean much. See how well he handles pressure when his back is all bruised because he got layed out on the previous play. I dont put much stock in offseason drills where qb's where red jerseys so you know not to lay a finger on them. Lets be real here. I dont see a way for them to win more than 8 games. I just dont see any possible way for it to happen. After looking at their schedule, i see an automatic 9 losses. The other games the pack will have a shot but nothing guaranteed. P.S. dont take this as an attack. There has been enough arguing on here in the last week. I'm just stating my opinion on what you said.
