My father was raised in Menominee and played football with the Menominee North End Athletic Club. In 1918 they combined with the Marinette North End and played back and forth for both teams. They played Green Bay to a 0-0 tie at Hagemeister Park. My Dad was still playing for Menominee in 1919 but had broken his leg and didn't play against Green Bay. Green Bay beat them 53-0. Doctors told my dad he should never play again because of the damage it had caused to his leg. Glad to hear the towns named.</blockquote>
