Harrison is a good surprise. These guys are on an early roll.

2 straight games with at least 1 hit in every inning. I love this team! The Giants appeared to be making a comeback in the 8th with their 2 runs. The Brewers calmy walked to the plate in the bottom of the 8th and said "Not in our house", and manufactured 4 runs of their own.

Ugh... Sproat is on the mound tonight.
I'm not a big Sproat fan, just yet either. I do think though that he is young enough and maybe will get a lot better, with more pitching experience.

What a come back and then an almost loss, turning into an extra inning cliff hanger, until the final out, win for the Brewers. Coors Field seems to produce a lot of games like that.

I was cursing just reading the story on CBS Sports
I tuned in when it was 5-4 Brewers but bases loaded and just 1 out. Then an RBI took it tied 2 outs 1st n 3rd and they flied out. Then it went to 10th and I remember… waking up in my recliner at 1:30am. Obviously won but I was so tired I passed out sitting in my chair and my wife had thrown a blanket on me.
Love that Milwaukee has clawed their way into one of the best records to this point. Obviously it’s a long season but they have some very winnable games in front of them.

Miz tosses a heater at 103.7 mph. Good god, a batter has to feel like he's stepping into a war zone instead of the batter's box. The guy who was hit in the helmet by a 98 mph... can you imagine. Man, that arm could be considered a lethal weapon. The Crew put on a good show.

Winning it with the long ball last night, 5 Homers, all solo shots.

Miz pitched great, again.....that's getting delightfully redundant to say.

Harrison last night... 2.1 innings... gave up 8 hits and 8 earned runs on 71 pitches. Poor guy... guess that qualifies as "one of those nights". Just going off the box score. :roflmao: A win is a win is a win..

Tough "park" to pitch in, 11 homers knocked out of it by both teams. What a game though. I had all but given up on the Brewers by the end of the 6th inning, but stuck with it. I even crawled into bed, to finish the final 10th inning outs on my radio with the crew "safely" up by 4 runs. Good lord Ashby! How do you give up 4 runs, after 2 outs so fast!

Wild game, never give up on our Brewers!

- 4 hr.s and 14 minutes to complete
- 14 pitchers combined to throw 441 pitches
- 16 ABS challenges
- 34 hits
- 29 runs
- 11 HR's

Was listening to the game on Sirius (won't get games on TV for a couple more weeks) and that was a wild one!

Not only are the Brewers in the middle of another great season, their minor league system is considered the best in MLB, with several exciting prospects.

The Milwaukee Brewers possess the consensus number one farm system in Major League Baseball, ranking at the top of lists from MLB Pipeline, ESPN, and Baseball America.

Yesterday the Brewers inked outfield Luis Lara to a 7 year contract. This follows a similar signing of Cooper Pratt in April, whom they gave an 8 year deal.

Look for the following players to make major contributions to the Brewers in the near future. All 4 are listed as "Shortstops", but can play multiple positions:

1. Jesús Made, SS
2. Luis Peña, SS/2B
3. Jett Williams, SS/OF
4. Cooper Pratt, SS

Well, how about Miz. Complete game, 1 hitter, 15 strikeouts. I can't remember the last Brewer complete game. Ben Sheets 18 strikeouts hangs for a little while longer. This kid is something else. I think it's kinda neat he gets that performance against the Phillies after the whining and *****ing they did last year about him making the All Star game roster over their guy - who, it was pointed out later turned down the opportunity to be on the roster. Way to go Miz.

If you have Sirius in your car you can listen to the app on your phone. This is the cheaper way for us to listen to the crew in FL. We get Sirius pretty cheap by negotiating with them every year.
Yeah, I get it ... it's of my own doing. I DO NOT like paying subscription services - I'm cheap and then whine about it. It's what I do.

You beat me to the....punch...out.

A Miz Masterpiece!

Miz faced the minimum number of batters as well, 27. No walks and Schwarber, who got the only hit in the 4th, was out after Harper hit into a double play. He also threw the fastest ball in MLB since they started using the pitch tracking technology that they now use. The pitch was clocked at 104.5 mph, beating the old record of 103.7 mph. Who held that record? The Miz, of course.

For those that ... "Mizzed the game".....here is a nice highlight reel of this Kids dominance!
