Maybe i'm wrong and it was just injury that made him play this way this year. But i've seen him run with too good of receivers and make some great breaks on balls to make a pick to believe the guy doesn't have the physical tools to be very good in this league. Even if he's just guessing, it still takes talent to make that play. Open yourself up for coaching, let the game work itself out, let it slow down for you, and then you don't have to guess, you just make plays. But that takes time and work. We'll see if he puts it in or not.
The jury is still out on Randall, no denying that. For me, It's hard to draw a lot from this year other than what I thought about him early on. He has the skills, he needs to be coached, and he needs to believe in his coaching and the plan. But he was hurt too much this year to really make conclusions. I don't know if he was playing so far off and and so poorly at times because that's how he wanted to play it, or if that's how he was forced to play it because he knew he just couldn't keep up. After the rookie campaigns I came away with the impression that Rollins would be a very solid DB. Not a huge splash play guy, just the guy that goes out and covers and breaks up passes. I thought Randall would be the more noticeable of the 2 for both good and bad. He seems to take more chances, which creates big play opportunities, both ways. Right now, my impression hasn't changed a lot because of so much injury this year, but they both have a lot to prove going forward. I think at least 1 of them will be this years Adams. Right now i'm leaning towards Rollins, because I think mentally he's tougher and more coachable. I think Randall things too much of himself, which can be good, once he allows himself to be coached.
