Last off-season I was very uncharacteristically bullish on the Packers 2025 chances if they could improve from within by players taking the 2nd and 3rd year jumps. I specifically targeted Kraft, Reed, Love and Cooper but also mentioned Williams. Kraft made a leap and then had the ACL. Reed was hurt. Love improved but was underutilized IMO and Cooper regressed. There's a big reason why the season flopped. Given the limited resources, improving from within will be an even bigger need in 2026. If the Packers hope to improve in 2026, here are guys with the talent IMO that will need and have the potential to make the big jump: Morgan- He'll probably be playing LT. Critical position to say the least. Cooper- enormous talent. It has to be developed and utilized better. Golden - He's got a lot talent but needs to be properly utilized. Reed - Needs to stay healthy but the team really needs a weapon at slot receiver. Williams- Has had two good years but he needs to make more plays on the ball to up his game. Belton - Starting on the O line as a rookie isn't easy. I like his trajectory. The game isn't too fast for him and he's a massive force in the run game. Perhaps Bullard could be on this list but he may already be playing at his ceiling. Nevertheless, he's one of my favorite players.
