By getting Rodgers to buy into a more balanced offense we are keeping him upright limiting his hits and effectively taking away the absurd tactics which defenses were using against Aaron. Pretty much for the last couple of years of MMs tenure you'd play Rodgers by spreading your defensive front, dropping your LBs and safeties deep and ignoring the run. Even when we were averaging say 5+ ypc we wouldnt stick with it. This is why Rodgers play declined so markedly and why he was getting sacked I want to say about 44+ times per season. Running a more balanced offense the rush is slower, the passing lanes are wider and Rodgers looks like a young man again.We all love Rodgers but thank God we've moved on from the Aaron Rodgers hero ball approach that we had from 2011 to 2019. Honestly if we had been using a system more like MLFs I bet we would have won at least one super bowl during that time period.</blockquote>
