Not sure if I follow. But the middle can only be 2 of our projected starters. Banks-Ryan-Belton Banks had a down year, but that was primarily until around mid season area and started to click down the stretch. The FO did anticipate him to improve in year 2, but much of that was they said he was struggling with some minor injuries that didn’t help his cause Possibly if he remains healthy he could trend up? Now for record I’m not agreeing as much as relaying what’s been said. Groundcover to bandaid a poor financial FA move? Possibly. We shall see. My best guess is Banks will be better before he’s worse. Ryan took over full time on 11/16/25 against the Giants. He played 7 contests at Center before sitting week 18 and jumping back in during postseason. Center isn’t a position you are going to excel finishing a season unless you are superhuman imo. Sean struggled in Pass protect but was still able to run the OL on short notice. He’s a good athlete with lots of power. He’ll get a full body of work this Camp and preseason. Plus he’s already done this once, so his confidence level will be higher than a new guy. If he works on Pass protect we could very well have an above average Center imo. Belton was almost identical as Sean in playing time. Except for a fill in game or 2 he took over for Sean at RG. He actually got better as the season progressed. I think it’s asking alot to throw a Rookie into the mix later in the season and expect high marks. Just get some experience and learn the nuances. It’s not a stretch to expect Belton gets better. These guys had very little work together as a cohesive group in Camp or Preseason until nearly Thanksgiving. Playing 1st team reps is going to be beneficial for this group. That goes for Morgan also. Nothing helps you learn better than on the job training. Jumping from HS to Collegiate or Collegiate to Pro is going to take a minute. Highly unlikely our OL goes backwards with more time together.
