Message: <blockquote data-quote="Heyjoe4" data-source="post: 1063442" data-attributes="member: 13032">I think I read this on CBS Sports - someone close to Rodgers thinks he's delaying signing with the Steelers so he can avoid the first two OTAs.  That kinda makes sense.  Rodgers has long stated his dislike for OTAs.   The third OTA is mandatory in the NFL, so the thinking is that he has a verbal agreement with the Steelers that will be finalized after the first two OTAs.They should also get a commitment that he won't be in Egypt or anywhere else in the world during the third, mandatory OTA.  He missed it last year for the Jets, and it sent a lousy message and was seen as hypocritical, based on earlier, contrary comments from Rodgers.Wow I'm glad he's not a Packer anymore.  Way too high maintenance.</blockquote>
