all the coaches spots are filled I believe. I guess he could be a 'consultant' here too.

What did Bee Gees stand for?

sorry off topic, but in class last night we were discussing it
When you were a kid, and got scared, didn't you ever get the "Heebie Bee Gees?"
I know that the "GEE" stood for their last name, Gibb. They were all brothers, so i think it was the "Brothers Gibb." Thus, BEE GEES.

Cheesey has it right "Brothers Gibb"

Back on topic: I say there is no reason to add Alex Gibb to the payroll.
But he and his brothers could play at all the halftime shows!!!
(SORRY AGAIN!!!)

I thought the title said Should the Pack hire this guy, it doesnt say

Bee Gees Reunion Tour does it? Or am I reading it wrong?

This is the guy that perfected the zone blockling scheme I think it wouldnt be a bad thing to get the guy in here even if it is just for training camp...

Get those guys to learn from the best

The Packers do not need Alex Gibbs. They have enough of their own problems.

What exactly is the problem with Alex Gibbs? He's the most knowledgeable man out there with respect to zone blocking. Bringing him in as a consultant surely couldn't hurt.

Care to expand?

The Packers coaching staff is set with promotions at OC and OL.

This would not be the time to undermine Philbin and Campen.

Fair enough, but if Gibbs comes on as a 'consultant', then wouldn't it give Philbin and Campen the best person to bounce their ideas off of, not to mention getting advice from Gibbs to improve their methods of teaching?

IMO, I think Philbin and Campen should be given their shot without any interference.
