You should definitely take the Lambeau tour and allot plenty of time for the Hall of Fame. Both are well worth it. Take a food tour of Green Bay?

What is food tour? Are open practices you can watch?

The Packers now time the shareholder meeting to coincide with the start of training camp, so yes you can attend.

I just sad that you should essentially sample the cuisine of Green Bay. There are Packers staples such as Kroll's, etc. You can type "Green Bay food tour" and find several companies that actually take you on guided tours. It's nothing new.

In the early 2000s, my wife and I did a guided brewery tour in Munich. We sampled food and beer at a bunch of locations, including the Hoffbrau House.

Took my 80yo uncle to it last summer. Meeting itself ain't so much. You sit in Lambeau field stands in whatever weather. Last year upper 80's and a hot afternoon sun. A handful of stands open. No alcohol as it is a business meeting. We left after maybe the 4th speaker. Hit the proshop for specials on "owners only" merch. Do the Packer HoF and stadium tour if time. Morning practice across the street. Hit the GB tourism website for local things to see. Find some local cuisine that you might not get "authentically" back home. Skip the chain restaurants. I think Kroll's is overrated. Definitely try a supper club for an evening meal with an old-fashion. Union Hotel for a more upscale time. GB Distillery, Anduzzis, Titletown, Stadium View, the Bar are near to the stadium for more relaxed dining. There are quite a few others.

I went last year too, it was way too hot for me. I don't tolerate heat well to begin with, so sitting in the sun was not enjoyable for me. I thought the meeting itself was pretty boring, I didn't make it all the way through. Mainly I just wanted to hear what Ed Policy had to say, then we left. But I like being in Wisconsin in general (my family has a long history there), so aside from the meeting it was fun.

I've been a shareholder since the mid 1980s. Meetings back then were held at the Midway Motor Lodge. Back then you wore a suit or a dress. Only 70 or so folks would be there so you could really rub elbows with the swells. These days shareholders almost treat it like a tailgate party wearing casual team apparel but these are really just business meetings held outdoors. These meetings now are pretty dull. Most of the time the discussions are about revenue numbers and each committee chair giving some sort of a report. You'd be better off going on a Lambeau tour and the pro-shop - but don't buy anything there. The prices are insane. You can find Packer gear elsewhere in town for much less.
