Rudi Johnson Passing (Bengals Former RB)

I was sad to cross this story tonight by rare chance. I also happen to have lived back and forth between Chesterfield County/Richmond, VA across a 26 year spectrum. Rudi played football at Thomas Dale High School, which is where Fullback William Henderson played several years earlier. Rudi recorded his induction speech just 5 days ago, accepting an award for making his County Sports “Hall of Fame”. He was a resident of FL until recently. Rudi broke the Bengals single season rushing record 2X
in consecutive seasons. 2004-05

My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Rudi! You’ll be missed. May the God of Abram Isaac and Jacob welcome you to paradise!

It's sad to hear about another suicide by a former football player that may have had CTE. If you haven't watched the 30 for 30 on Junior Seau, I guarantee you won't be able to finish watching without a few tears welling up.

The Vikings center, Ryan Kelly, just suffered his fifth documented concussion - one in 2017, two in 2023, and now two in 2025. This is a sign to retire and think about the rest of your life.
