This is nothing new for Rodgers. Since he was handed the reigns early in 2008, Rodgers has gone out of his way to be a leader of the entire team. Below is a link to a Wilde article from May of that year. IMO his hosting team get-togethers in which every member of the team, from the all pros to newly signed UDFAs were invited, was a great idea. As Wilde says in the story, of course how Rodgers has performed on the field is ultimately most important, but from the very beginning he did, “everything right as he embrace(d) his new role as leader of the Pack”.
