Bates will improve the defense but it will be limited because of lack of proper player personnel. Davenport and Fisher will have to pick up the slack.</p><p></p><p>Packers are facing very tough 2005 schedule. All things considered the Packers look like a 8-8 team plus or minus 1 game.
