The game at Heinz Field was a great game ... despite the fact that the Vikings lost ... Steelers played pretty solid at defense ... and as a team the Steelers have a rep of playing to the level of their opponent (especially at home it seems, regardless of level ...) - The Vikings managed to contain the Steelers offense as well ... Personally, I think that game had most of what most (football) fans would want ... intensity ... (relative) solid play overall ... It's not like the Vikings got blown away ... far from it ... I think the game proved that the Vikings are infact a pretty good team this year, and much better than most critics would like to admit ... And lets face it ... a Vikings loss was probably the "best" thing that could have happened regarding "build-up" (in terms of fans and media) for this Sundays rematch in Green Bay at Lambeau ... Losing to the Steelers at Heinz Field wasn't as "catastrophic" as alot of "experts" (analysists) and fans are making it out to ... The Vikings are 6-1, and it was an out of conference game as well as on the road, so the impact it will have will most likely be minimal, no matter how you look at it ... And probably meant more to the Steelers than it did to the Vikings ... I can't help but smile, when some people insist on that old Greybeard caused the loss, but that same thing will happen every time he either loses or throws an interception ... The Steelers are a pretty good team (especially at home), however, most people seem to (conviently) forget that ... The Dolphins managed to put a "scare" into most NO fans ... and was playing pretty well against the Saints, untill they "Ran out of Gas" ... Not to mention Atlanta Falcons that were (also) brought down to earth in Dallas by the Cowboys ... - Romo played pretty well in that game, but I guess he didn't have much to do with that win and was just lucky ? heh ... As I've said before ... this Sundays game, by all accounts, should be a very interesting one, and also one that will get alot of attention.
