We came into the season knowing that we had a really weak secondary, but lost Slaton & Clark. Then we added Parsons but lost both him and Wyatt. Our defense did well in the first half of games but wore down in the second halves. A lot of that actually goes on the OL - who consistently failed to open holes in the running game and/or commit penalties, leading to many second half 3&outs. Our defense was continually fatigued with inferior players at key positions....and we mainly beat those teams because they were worse than last year. We played elite football in Week 1 but the Lions were not up to the task, as compared to last year.</blockquote>
