heard a rumor on espn that Parcells is thinking about Detroit...they suggested that he'd move if the $$$ is right...is he worth pursuing?

He's a damn good coach...doubt if that rumor is true though!

I agree! One hell of a coach. IF he does leave Dallas, I wouldn't mind the Pack getting in a bidding war over him. (I know, TT is conservative, but even he must open the bank for a guy like Parcells... I hope)

I wouldn't want Parcells. Great coach, but he's 64 years old and has already retired once or twice. You can't count on him to be in it for the long haul.

I wish he would come here! I dont know if it is what Favre is looking for. but you cant just build around and cator to Favre...and I know that Brett doesnt want that either.

It's already been stated about Parcells that he never finishes out a contract and he's only been with Dallas for 3 years. Do we want a good coach to jump ship after only 3 years?

I don't know about that Chick...

He brought the Jets to the NFC championship game...(with Vinnie Testeverde...(does his last name mean "Green balls"?)...

and he seems to be turning Dallas around....

Rome wasn't built in a day...

No, it's Testaverde and means "green head".

Testa = head
verde = green

It's Italian. The Ferrari Testarossa means "redhead".

If so, then Testarossa means red balls.

I agree. Plus, I thought he was still under contract with Dallas for next year. We might have to give Dallas a draft pick to get him similar to when Tampa gave up picks for Gruden. We need the draft picks more than Parcells.

I heard that Kansas City may be willing to give the Jets a pick for Herm Edwards if they are willing to let him go. Speculation was that they would probably have to give up a #1 pick, since he took a team to the playoffs 3 years out of 5. The Jets finished 4-12 also. I wonder how valuable a 4-12 coach that took a team to the playoofs 4 out of six years would get you?

I swear Thompson is an idiot.

You're right DePack...

I wouldn't mind seeing "EDWARDS" in Green Bay...

(never mind..yes I would...he's just too damn conservative when it comes to crunch time, and it always bites him in the ***...kind of plays.."not to lose"....)

But he's better than you know who....
