Message: <blockquote data-quote="PWT36" data-source="post: 122329" data-attributes="member: 170">Excellent posts on this topic.  It seems to me that Packer fan posters on this topic of Free Agency and Salary cap have done their homework.  I have seen some  posters on Packer forums in the past who did not understand Salary Cap and Free Agency. and their posts show it.I see the 49ers  and Tennessee Titans etc  learned their lesson of the past concerning "salary cap hell" and are no longer in salary cap trouble in '06 and '07.  It seems that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins  are going to have to make some tough   salary cap decisions in '07, as the Packer had to do in '05.As most packer forum posters know, The Packers were on the brink of salary cap hell in '05.  Packer GM Ted Thompson has done a excellent job of putting the franchise in good fiscal shape ,as far as the NFL salary cap is concerned.</blockquote>
