After one year of a half bad, half good season and blowing it in the playoffs by throwing a pick when there was plenty of time on the clock to take the time to move down the field. As for the look, unfortunately those cameras zoom in on Qbs after a pick or bad throws and I don't see any reaction in his face or Watson and I don't see any improvement in their play. Malik has already replaced him during injuries with LaFleur's effective game plan. I don't care what he's getting paid, if they really want to win. The market definitely determined his pay, but it didn't improve his play and decision skills. I think this a coaching style problem. Why should overpaid quarterbacks not be replaced when they lose their focus. Just look at the highly paid QBs or starting QBs around the league who get benched (D. Jones, Will Levis, Jameis Winston). If the Packers want to go all the way, LaFleur has to acknowledge the reality of Love's play and be ready to change strategy like any other part of the game. Of course, LaFleur also has to recognize his play calling flaws in the red zone and when they get the lead. No killer instinct. Play to the whistle, not the lead. Two Pro Bowl QBs, one in the HOF and one expected to be in the HOF and one SB each. All that effort to win the division or make it to the playoffs and all that draft capital wasted on defense. There's a lack of recognition of what it takes to go all the way and how they need to change to go all the way. I just look at Detroit and their turn around. They play with determined aggression. They play hungry. The Packers showed it in the first half and then backed off in the second.
