The obliques are located near the ribs, so this likely is the same injury he reported then.  Kampman's status for this week's game against the New York Giants isn't clear. He's expected to be listed in the "did not participate" category on the initial injury report, which is due out this afternoon.  Guard Jason Spitz (calf) and end Michael Montgomery (knee) also didn't practice. Safety Nick Collins missed practice because of a "positive" personal issue, McCarthy said.All other players were limited, according to McCarthy: CB Al Harris (elbow), WR Carlyle Holiday (knee), WR Greg Jennings (hamstring), T Tony Moll (neck), RB Vernand Morency (knee) and S Aaron Rouse (hamstring). </blockquote>
