[QUOTE="DoURant, post: 831877, member: 12388"] When it comes to WR, they drafted 3 guys last year, Geronimo is back from injury, and I'm sure the top brass has faith in who they have, whether we agree with it or not. They drafted Sternberger in the 3rd, to go with Graham, Lewis, and Tonyan. OL, drafted Jenkins, got a bonus with Cole coming back this year and Signed Turner as a FA. Spriggs is in 4th year, its put up or shut up for him. After the draft they signed Josuah Nijman OT Virginia Tech 6'6" 324, ran a 4.83 40 and has a RAS of 9.87...go figure he was on their radar, LOL. They drafted Dexter Williams, who is made for zone blocking, and may give Aaron Jones a run for his money by mid season. Right now, I'm good with the offense and what they did this draft and off-season, and they still may cut and sign some guys, because there will be cuts, and plenty of veteran FA's out there yet, so we all need to RELAX just a little.... also, if anyone thinks the (2) 4th round picks we traded to get Savage was going to make or break this team, I think your crazy. In Amish's mock only 2 draft picks were mocked correctly by everyone involved (Savage and Sternberger) what makes anyone think they would have drafted anyone with them picks we wanted and mocked in the contest anyway. I love the draft, I love my team, and there's a lot of smart Packers fans in here and that's why I'm on this board, especially around the draft. But like the moderator said up top, we definitely aren't smarter them the guys making the selections, they are building the team they know what they want for players for the schemes they are implementing for a new coach and staff, we don't. I think its obvious they want Athletic freaks right now, and they are gonna live and die by that philosophy (and hopefully not die). It's okay to question what they are doing, not drink the cool-aid everyday, have friendly banter, disagreements, etc., but the arrogance of some of people thinking they are right and everyone else on here, along with the Packers top brass is wrong is complete and utter lunacy. This is a new era in football, analytics is the new way we do business, whether we like it or not. It's time to get on the 2019 Packers train, support the players we drafted, support the new coaching staff, support Gute, he's trying to build a team "his team", "his way" He also needs more than 1 season, and 2 drafts (one hasn't even suited up yet) to be judged on how good he will be.
