I am so happy Dix made it pass that trade with Saints/Cards.   IMO both Ward and Bucannon were a bit of a reach respectively in first round where they were picked.  It just goes to show how many teams are looking to get better at safety. I cant believe some of the teams needing a safety that  passed on Dix, mainly the bears. I think overall Dix is a solid pick that is a day 1 starter at free safety which we need.  A guy that TT knows can play free safety in the NFL.  Not a guy that can maybe play free safety in the NFL.  Dix may not of been the **** pic that Mosley would of been but it could prove to be a more valuable one overall. Time will tell. I had my earlier concerns about Dix but with him slotted in at free safety and Burnett back to SS the secondary is somewhat set. It's deep too.The good news is now they have 8 picks to find an inside linebacker, receiver, TE.  I'm really hoping they pull the trigger tonight at Yarwin Smallwood in the 3rd tonight. Jace Amaro might drop to Pack in 2nd., then take best available receiver with the other 3rd.</blockquote>
