In 1947 the Bears picked Bob Fennimore and in 1958 the Chicago Cardinals picked King Hill. The 1949 Eagles selected a guy some may have heard of with the lottery pick: Chuck Benarik, who went on to have an ok career. I read an article this morning about the NFL lottery in the 40's and 50's so I was curious and wiki'd the years of the lottery.</blockquote>
