So it was the correct call then? Carroll's cheerleading on the sidelines over such an awful call, which he was doing as the review was going on, really rubbed Packer fans the wrong way. You would have never seen a coach like McCarthy or Belichick lobby the refs like that from the sidelines. And he was lobbying them. Anyway, enough about Seahawks' fans overenthusiasm. Nice to have some good ones here. Again, the only point I'm making about Hawks fans is not how fanatical they are about their team, it's the attitude towards other teams, but hey, they aren't the first to be that way. Just steer away from being lumped with Cowboys and Steelers fans. That you don't want. On this game, I notice that many are focused on AR's mobility quite rightly. But, if Rodgers has the mobility that he showed in the 2nd half of the Dallas game, that could make a real difference because he was able to escape the rush to an extent. Also, in attacking the Hawks' defense, recognize that up front they are fast especially on the edges, but they do not have a punishing front 7. Avrill and Bennett are fine DEs, but not overpowering. Wagner is a great MB and probably the most physical of the bunch as far as I know, but what it means is that Seattle is more vulnerable to a running game between the tackles. A punishing RB that runs it right down their throats is more effective than a running game that tries to go outside. Irvin is fast but he's not a great tackler, a good pass rusher, but he's not that good against the run.
