My game plan for the Pack: Offense: Rodgers, you know what to do. Jennings, Nelson, Driver, Jones (WR) and Finley (TE), NO dropped balls! Work the sidelines and wear out the Giants D with your speed. Most of you will need double coverage and that will free up someone else and spread the Giants thin. Running game, short yardage/ gains on 2nd down or for 3rd down convos if 3rd and short (less than 3 yards). Most important, O-Lineman (RT, LT, RG. LG) protect your QB!!!! Pocket and pass protection is paramount! Crosby, you have been ace this year, we will need you if this game comes down to a FG. Defense: Believe. You guys have struggled this year, but you have triumphed as well. Mix it up a little. Utilize Matthews and maybe move him around or drop him into coverage. Eli is a great QB but he is inconsistent. Put him off his game and you negate their offense. If they are not putting points on the board, their defense does not matter. Look for picks, and if given the chance, take it to the house, but worry about securing possession first. You must generate some type of pass rush, but I'd be more concerned with the Giants run game. Run D is going to need to be on guard as the Giant tend to run the ball more. Most important is to get some pressure on Eli and cause him to make stupid mistakes. Special teams: Cobb, I speak to you. Protect the football. Don't do anything foolish like try and run it out of the endzone when you are 5 yards deep. Call for a fair catch if things look iffy. Especially if the score is close and it looks like the Giants have momentum. The rest if the ST, play conservative. We have the offense to go down the field, no need to go crazy. Protect the ball!!! Lasty, Go Pack Go! We are 15-1 with the now indisputable best offense and QB! ~Love from Coach Kitten
