Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 798135" data-attributes="member: 7261">As I read over this I was both nodding and shaking my head in agreement and disagreement.  Much of it sounds like an excuse to just stick with basics.  I played Football and even a bunch of kids were able to pull off some "trick" plays, because we practiced them.  I am getting the feeling that MM goes into Practice each week with the attitude of "we need to get back to basics and fundamental football".  When you have as many veterans on the offense as the Packers do, that is so underwhelming to me.If throwing 2 yard passes on 3rd and 10 or 40 yard passes on 3rd and 2 is "fundamental football", than I think MM needs to rethink his fundamentals.  Yes, I am aware that those decisions aren't always as a result of the play called by MM.I'm not even going to look it up, because I think I can safely say that the Packers probably are at the bottom of the league in Red Zone proficiency.  Why?  No imagination.</blockquote>
