Message: <blockquote data-quote="ChicagoPackerfan" data-source="post: 774769" data-attributes="member: 12235">Man, this reminds me of Randall and Rollins 2015 again which I remember being so pumped up about thinking we were going to have an elite secondary and it flopped.. after that fail, taking 2 corners in consecutive rounds early tells me they're not completely sold on either guy and think both guys have "potential."  We already have King, so one additional corner would have sufficed.  I feel drafting like this, does not maximize our potential of truly building a great team from top to bottom...and maybe it's because of the disaster in 2015 taking Randall and Rollins leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I almost feel like picking two corners in the first 2 rounds tells me they're ok if one goes bust as long as they get one stud to complement Kevin King...Fixing our secondary without addressing our linebacker core or edge rush will prevent our defense from being elite no matter how great our secondary turns out to be.  Plus we still need another wide receiver (drooling over Bears scoop of Anthony Miller) and we need help on the line to protect our precious 12.</blockquote>
