I'm cautiously optimistic about the position as a whole. As much as it isnt a given that someone like Favre would have a repeat performance of last year we can say the same about Woodson. Both of them had career years at an age you wouldnt think they would. Woodson is quite a bit younger so the possibilities of him backing up last year with another great year are a little bit better. As far as the rest of the Db's go, I love Harris but he has been tailing off a bit in the past couple years. He seems to get exploited a lot by bigger receivers and seems to be giving up more than his share of TD's than in the past. But who knows how much has been his fault or just the safety out of position or a combination of both. Either way, combined with coming off ACL surgery he is questionable this year at best. Although he is a freak body-wise. He could pull a Reggie White miraculous recovery. Traman Williams has shown flashes of brilliance IMO but still has those games where he seems lost. Stiill not bad for an undrafted free agent. He has a lot of upside. I think everyone is hoping the three heading monster of Lee, Blackmon and Underwood will come through this year where we wont have to worry so much about it. Shields is a wild card but maybe this year only a special teams contributor. Not sure if we need anyone additional yet since we would have to make a decision on who to cut. Bush obviously can go anytime now. But its good to keep the feelers out as camp comes together. Maybe there will be some more decent options available after the June cuts....
