The third round is still the upper tier of a 7 round draft. The Patriots have built their organization by hoarding 1st through 3rd round picks and using them instead of a lot of free agency. On occasion they dip into free agency, but they normally build through the top three rounds of the draft. Joe Montana was drafted in the third round. What if the Vikings just traded away the next Joe Montana? Considering their quarterback question will be a big one next year.</p></blockquote><p></p>
