But they haven't even discussed what it will cost them to keep him past this year. This is almost unbelievable in my eyes. What were the Patriots offering him? If he didn't like what Kraft offered, I wonder what he's going to demand from the Wylfs? This looks like a redux of the 49ers to me. They broke the bank to stock up on talent in their waning years and haven't been a contender since. Of course what am I saying? Does anybody ever think the Vikings will seriously contend?
