Lee's fumble ended a Packers drive in the red zone, and Grant's gave the Vikings a final possession late in the fourth quarter. McCarthy said he hadn't seen a decent replay of Grant's fumble but believed the running back didn't make a good enough pocket for the handoff from Brett Favre, causing the ball to hit the lower half of Grant's top arm. McCarthy said Vikings safety Dwight Smith made a good play to strip Lee. However, he said rust wasn't any excuse for Morency's gaffe, which didn't cost the Packers because the ball rolled out of bounds. Harris (back), Woodson (left foot), Jackson (shin strain), Morency (knee) and Jennings (hamstring) all are dealing with previous injuries.</strong></p><p></p><p>Harris' status for this week's game against Chicago may be in the most doubt. He won't practice Wednesday and also may sit out Thursday, with Friday being "a big day," McCarthy said. Harris has battled back spasms since training camp and has acknowledged he might have to sit out at some point. He hasn't missed game since he became an NFL regular. Jennings also won't practice until Friday. McCarthy said it was "a mistake" to push him to practice Wednesday last week. Morency's problematic knee was "a little sore" Monday, a day after he made his season debut. He, Collins and Woodson likely will be limited in practice Wednesday.
