If this were Tom Brady, when he was 39, there would be no questions of his long term value.  Brady kept saying that he wanted to play for as long as he could.I am convinced that Rodgers has known that he wants to play each of the last 3 seasons, but he likes all the attention and the concessions that he gets, when he feigns the idea of retirement.  That stance is totally what gives the Jets a lot of power in the negotiations, so the Packers should say "you know, you may be right, but if you are wrong, we would like to get compensated."</blockquote>
