The whole salary cap thing needs to be fixed so no kicking of any cans take place in the first place. That said All teams deal with this and most are kicking cans down the roads they travel. One of the things I like to see is to cap how much players can make per position played. No player should be making more then 10mil/year. ANo matter how great they are. It's great that you are an exceptional player and helping your team win but you are also hurting your teams chances but sucking up so much money that is hurting the team just as much as it's helping. I know the arguments. Free market, capitalism, short player longevity and career ending injury that can accurately at any time and so on. What about us the fans? Without us there is no football. Ther are no millions of dollars per year contracts. There are no massive indolent deals. So how is it that without us the fans non of this exists and yet we are clearly the last the players, the league the owners give a darn about? Short of fleecing our pockets as much as they can ofcourse. Most people work a lifetime to make less then 2 million dollars in gross earnings. Why then this players can't play for a max capped salary per position then ?. I have a lot more to say about it and expand on ot however to keep it within reason I leave it here. Feel free to share your views and expand upon it.
