If you watch the behind the scenes special from last week, the showrunners even say that they intend the audience to be behind Dany's army as they storm the gates. That confirms to me that they intended her turn as a cheap twist. Waste of a good character.</p><p></p><p>She sacrificed much to fight for the living against the wights. It was only then that they started turning her into the Emperor from Star Wars, complete with **** imagery. I never said it wasn't foreshadowed, but I don't agree with it, and it was all badly rushed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
