But what about the rest of the rookies? Is it just OSU that prevents it or is he the only one still in classes?

NCAA I believe has a rule stating that mini camps cannot prevent a student from attending classes.

Barnett went through the same thing as far as being allowed to attend. He'll be there and he'll be fine. He is definitely the least of our worries. Many scouts also had Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning...we'll see how he pans out but I think he'll at least be the 3-4 x's pro bowler.

I read somewhere that it's a "gentlemen's" agreement between the NFL and the NCAA that a drafted player will not be allowed to participate in NFL training until his class graduates. Obviously, this does not apply if the player quits college early. Hopefully, this way more players will get their degrees.
