Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pugger" data-source="post: 283154" data-attributes="member: 1228"><p>Our secondary was decimated by injuries and so we had to use the bottom of the barrel in passing situations.  I'm sure no one on the Packers staff in week one thought we'd eventually have to use the 6th guy on the depth chart in the nickel and dime.  We had no push up the middle from our D line so all teams had to do was double team CM3 and QBs had all day to throw.  TT addressed that with drafting Neal and Wilson.  Now we will have enough guys in the rotation so our big guys up front won't be gassed in the fourth quarter.  Plus this past season was the first year with a new defensive scheme.  All of this should help make our defense better this year than last.</p></blockquote><p></p>
