Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 664158" data-attributes="member: 7261"><p>I don't think there is much doubt that the only reason Janis is even in the conversation is because of the job that he did as a gunner in the last half of the 2015 season.  Without that, he would be a long shot to make the team.  He showed a few flashes of being a decent kick returner early, but nothing much more after that.  I think we all know the book on him at WR to this point in his career.   So if he is to get an active roster spot each week, I hope the Packers find other ways to continue to use him on special teams.  Maybe try him returning punts?  I once liked Micah Hyde in that role, but he didn't impress me much last year.  What would be an added bonus, is Janis becoming a good WR, but not holding my breath on that one.</p></blockquote><p></p>
