Nowadays, you only get one chuck within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage.  Completely different game nowadays.Lofton was great, a real pleasure to watch.  He played his heart out every game, even though he played on losing teams.  Every time he touched the ball, he was a threat.  I remember reverses and double reverses he turned into long TDs.  Plus Lynn ****ey was good at the long ball and it was a blast watching ****ey throw bombs to Lofton.Sharpe would have been a Hall of Famer had it not been for that injury.  Could you imagine if Favre had Sharpe to throw to until the 2000s?
