While I’m not loving our schedule, I think it’s very possible GB finishes strong next season. So, the key will be staying at or around .500 through the first 6-7 weeks or so. The Bears really don’t scare me to be honest. I mean they needed an OT game and historical comeback just to beat us late in the 4th Quarter. Impressive that they won but not really what I’d label a dominating performance at home. Damn near lost those games Financially, We’re basically net net to slight positive after moving on from Elgton Jenkins deal. Which basically means we’ll have a little room to work with as far as signing some lower priced incumbent FA’s. We should see the restructures coming soon and I’m really hoping Gary is one of them. I do think it’s possible to move a modest amount of Hits into the future without it getting ugly. I recall from last year that we evened up a little better cap wise going forward after 2026. I still think we’ll dump some dead weight and grab an outside FA on a more affordable deal. Such as a 3yr/$35Mil type offer. I’m really hoping it’s in the trenches at OL. We can’t continue our status quo at OL. Josh Jacobs is getting absolutely robbed of what could’ve been another Probowl level season by playing musical chairs across our OL. We can keep most of this Roster intact. I could see a world where Quay is gone. Good Run stopper but he’s a guy we can get near similar production but for a fraction of his market value. The health of Colin Oliver is paramount and we can’t continue on our path of little to zero player growth.
