Bretts agent has indicated that Brett wants even more time to make his decision. He wants to see what the Pack is doing in free agency and the draft before he makes his decision.

Brett could not be reached for comment as he was in Homestead Florida taking NASCAR driving lessons.

Perhaps he is already embarking on a new career.

It appears that the Packers on getting this news, and with the end of the CBA looming, want his decision sooner than later and are less willing to put his 3 million bonus off till later.

It seems to becoming more apparent that Brett will not be back.

Favre was reached and did comment. He wants to see what the team is going to do in free agency. Sounds like he wants to continue to play but wants to make sure the Packers do what they can to be competitive.

I'm starting to wonder again about TT and MM. They keep saying they want him back and talk to him all the time, but for some reason haven't been able to convince him that they want to win right away. Something tells me they act one way to the public and another way to Favre.

I would like to know if Brett is coming back too, but he has earned the right to take his time on his decision. I look at it this way. The more time he takes, the better chance I think we have at him returning for another season. :twitch:

More likely he would do an aikman and be a team owner in nascar rather than a driver. at 36 kinda late in the game to learne how to be a race car driver

When i saw Favre on TV last night, he had just finished driving. He said something like "I don't think i'd want to try to pursue this as a career, it's too HARD! I'll leave it to you guys!"
The FIRST thing i thought was........."Man! I wish GOPACK could have seen this!!!"

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Favre invested in his own car at Nascar. It's just the kind of exciting thing he'd go for. And he has the loot to buy in. The big question is, will it be sooner or later?
